November has been a massive month for Sony. The electronics giant launched the PS5 after years of development and the console is expected to take gaming to the next level. So far, the PS5 has been met with high demand. According to Sony, they expect to sell 7.6 million PS5 units by the end of March 2021.
The release of the PS5 isn’t the only big news at PlayStation in November. The gaming platform continues to release games to its PlayStation Now subscription service, giving gamers even more online excitement. Prior to November kicking off, PlayStation Now revealed that six games would be released to the subscription service: F1 2020, Injustice 2, Rage 2, My Time at Portia, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and Warhammer: Vermintide 2.
The timing of the six November releases couldn’t be more perfect for gamers. Not only are all six games available for PS4 players, but they are available to play on PS5 as well. Gamers can enjoy the faster load times offered by the PS5 for the games as they enjoy a new level of gaming.
PlayStation Now made all six games available on Tuesday, November 3. The variety of games and genres are sure to please fans of the PlayStation console. Gamers subscribing to the PS Plus service can also download Middle-earth: Shadow of War and Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition on PS4 in November.
F1 2020 was released in July and like its predecessors, takes Formula One fans closer to the circuit. Hopefully, the game will be far more competitive than the actual Formula One competition, which is continually dominated by Lewis Hamilton. Codemasters developed the game adding new gameplay modes. The most talked-about addition is the MyTeam mode, which gives you the chance to build and run a Formula One team. Perhaps you can create a team that stops Mercedes and Hamilton. Real-life Formula One cannot seem to find one. If you prefer to play the game as one of the drivers from the 2020 competition, then you can select from any of the 20 that participated.
Injustice 2 gives you the chance to play the role of Batman, Aquaman or another much-loved DC Comics character. Whichever character you select, you will battle it out against supervillains in cool settings. Injustice 2 was developed by NetherRealm Studios. The developer crafted Mortal Kombat and lends its expertise to the graphics and gameplay. NetherRealm intended for Injustice 2 to give players a very personal experience each time they played the game. The game’s story has been continually praised by gamers. Thanks to Injustice 2’s gameplay and graphics, it is one of the best superhero games on the market today and a game that PlayStation Now subscribers will clamber for.
Rage 2 is set in a post-apocalyptic world and drops players into the chaos of trying to survive. You will take part in “vehicular combat” as you wage war against others attempting to survive the end of the world. The Authority rule this barren wasteland and it is your duty to defeat the oppressive faction to restore some sense of order. Released in May 2019, Rage 2 is a first-person shooter that continues the mayhem of the original Rage game. Although considered not as strong as the original Rage release, Rage 2 could make new fans thanks to being available on PlayStation Now. Rage 2 has been praised as a shooter allowing gamers to explore its open world, firing away creatures. The upgrades and character abilities are also a favorite aspect of the game for fans of the franchise.
