That means September 17 is the reliable answer; a precise local hour is not. If the button still says pre-order, pre-register or unavailable early that day, check the official listing later rather than downloading the game from another source.

Pre-ordering or pre-registering can let the store notify you or download automatically when the build becomes available. It does not provide early access.

Is Dave the Diver Mobile free?

It is free to start, not completely free to play. Both store descriptions say players can download the game and play the opening portion without charge, then unlock the full experience.

The US App Store currently displays a $9.99 in-app purchase for the complete game. Google Play confirms an in-app purchase but does not expose the local price on its public web listing before release.

This structure is closer to a playable demo followed by a premium purchase than a normal free-to-play economy. The official description does not advertise energy timers, randomized character pulls or recurring access payments.

Regional pricing can differ. Check the amount shown inside the official version on the account and storefront you actually use before approving the purchase.

The Android listing identifies MINTROCKET as the developer and provides its official support address. An APK uploaded by a third party cannot establish that it contains the release build, future updates or safe payment handling.

Google Play currently labels the game Teen for violence and blood. Exact device compatibility is evaluated inside Google Play; the public listing has not published a simple processor and memory table.

How to download Dave the Diver on iPhone or iPad

2. Choose pre-order before launch or download when the game becomes available.

The listing requires iOS 13.0 or later on iPhone and iPadOS 13.0 or later on iPad. It also lists compatibility with Apple-silicon Macs running macOS 11.0 or later, although the phone and tablet versions are the focus of this release.

Installed size can be larger than the store download because the operating system needs room to unpack files and may retain temporary data. Keeping several additional gigabytes free is safer than clearing exactly 3.3 GB.

Is the complete PC game included?

The mobile listings explicitly call this a full port of the original PC game. The advertised structure includes the Blue Hole, daytime fishing and exploration, Bancho Sushi restaurant management, equipment improvement, storylines, side quests and minigames.

That does not mean every platform feature is identical. Input, display layout, achievements, cloud saves and downloadable content distribution can differ even when the underlying campaign is complete.

What content will be available?

The base mobile listing advertises the complete original adventure and more than 200 kinds of sea creatures. MINTROCKET also continues the wider game with additional content, including the In the Jungle expansion, which adds Utara Village, freshwater exploration and a grill restaurant.

Reports linked from MINTROCKET’s own news page say the DREDGE collaboration and In the Jungle content are planned alongside the mobile release. The store pages do not yet provide complete regional purchase details for those add-ons, so players should not interpret “full port” as a promise that every separate content pack is free.

The safest launch-day check is the downloadable-content section inside the official app. It will show what is included, what requires a separate purchase and whether a pack is available in the selected region.

Can you transfer an existing save?

Cross-save between the mobile version and Steam, PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo Switch has not been announced on the mobile store pages. Game Center support appears on iOS, but Game Center achievements or cloud features do not automatically equal cross-platform save transfer.

Until MINTROCKET publishes an account-transfer method, plan to begin a separate mobile save. Do not buy the game on the assumption that PC or console progress will appear automatically.

This is one reason to use the free opening section first. It lets an existing player inspect the port before committing to another full-game purchase.

Will Dave the Diver Mobile support controllers?

The pre-release App Store page does not show Apple’s controller-support label, and the Google Play description does not list gamepads. That makes official controller support unconfirmed, not necessarily absent.
