Is Palworld Online a real official game?
Yes. Garena announced Palworld Online on August 3, 2026 as a multiplayer survival adventure based on the Palworld intellectual property. Pocketpair granted the license, and Pocketpair CEO Takuro Mizobe provided a statement supporting the collaboration.
Garena is the developer and publisher. Pocketpair is not building this version directly, which means launch, service and account questions should be answered by Garena rather than inferred from the original game’s policies.
Officially licensed does not mean identical. The game has a new setting, original story material and an MMO structure created for mobile.
When is the Palworld Online release date?
The only official release window is 2026. Garena has not announced a month, day, launch time or regional sequence.
A retailer placeholder, search-result date or fan countdown is not a confirmation. Mobile games can move through closed tests, regional soft launches and staged storefront releases before worldwide availability. Garena has not yet said whether Palworld Online will use any of those stages.

Is Palworld Online available for pre-registration?
There is no official App Store or Google Play registration listing linked from Garena’s announcement at the time of writing. Garena instead directs players to official social and community channels for future updates.
When registration begins, use a first-party route:

- Follow its store link rather than searching for an APK.

What phone specifications will Palworld Online require?
Minimum and recommended specifications have not been published. Garena says the game is being optimized across a wide range of phone specifications, but that statement does not identify supported chipsets, RAM, storage or frame-rate targets.
Do not use the original PC requirements to estimate a phone requirement. Palworld Online is a different build with different assets, networking and world management.
The useful specifications to wait for are:

Yes. Garena has confirmed group formation, shared settlements, cooperative PvE encounters, open-world bosses, rare-Pal hunts and competitive PvP matches.
The announcement does not reveal:
- Maximum party and guild sizes
- Server population
- Ranked or casual PvP formats
- Whether open-world PvP is optional
- Matchmaking rules
- Raid sizes
- Cross-region play
- Voice-chat support
Players concerned about forced PvP should wait for a clear server or mode explanation. The presence of PvP does not prove that every player can be attacked in the open world.
Can you capture, breed and build with Pals?
Capturing and raising Pals are confirmed. Pals can accompany exploration, help automate production and defend collaborative settlements. Garena also references hunting rare Pals with other players.
Breeding has not been described as clearly in the English Palworld Online announcement, so the exact inheritance and breeding systems should not be assumed from the original game. Will Palworld accounts, saves or purchases transfer?
No transfer system has been announced between Palworld Online and any other Palworld game. Assume a new account, character and collection until Garena says otherwise.

- Captured Pals
- Bases and resources
- Achievements

Will Palworld Online support controllers?
Controller support has not been announced. Garena is emphasizing a streamlined touch interface and optional one-tap controls for building, relocation and Pal deployment.
Those features suggest that the game should be fully usable without a controller. They do not rule out Bluetooth controller support. Players who require physical controls should wait for an official compatibility list instead of assuming that accessories supported by other Garena games will work.
How can you follow Palworld Online safely?
Use Garena’s announcement as the starting point. It links the official Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Discord and Reddit communities. A genuine registration or beta campaign should be repeated through those channels.
Avoid search ads and download pages that:
- Offer an APK before Garena announces one
- Promise guaranteed closed-beta access for payment
- Request an existing Steam or console password
- Claim transferable premium Pals
