Marvel Strike has been around for a while now, and it features dozens of characters, with more being released quarterly. In addition, there are endless equipment types, oodles of orbs, and several shard types. All that adds up to what can be an overwhelming on-ramp for new players.
Starting Goals for a Beginning MSF Player
Players nowadays are expected to play Blitz, Raid, Arena, Alliance War, and Challenges whenever possible if they wish to advance quickly enough in the game.
Each of these sections can be played alone and offers valuable rewards required to unlock and improve characters from the Roster. However, as a newcomer still looking for a strategy, you might get overwhelmed and lost in the game. Therefore, we developed an all-in-one guide to set your priorities for your game’s first couple of months.
Here are some pointers for newcomers to Marvel Strike Force that you can use to apprehend the game.
#1 Focus on your Campaign and RTA
The game has several modes, but concentrating on the Campaign and Real-Time Arena (RTA) if you’re just getting started should be your recommended approach.
For brand-new gamers, the Campaign mode is fantastic. You must complete the Heroes Campaign before accessing the Villains Campaign, where your previously unlocked Sinister Six can reclaim their former glory. When you “3-Star” a campaign node, you can automatically clear it to get more free things. Also, pay attention to the nodes that could provide character shards.
Another option to concentrate on as a new player is RTA because it offers even more free goods without requiring you to pay for the upgrade. Better more, the RTA rewards you with character shards of a different character every month, usually one of the more popular, more recent characters.
#2 Sinister Six over Legendary characters
In contrast to previous Gacha games, Marvel Strike Force gives you the freedom to unlock nearly anyone you want, allowing you to plan and strategize. However, over time heroes that should be farmed first have changed due to their availability in various game modes and the game expansion.
Characters labeled “Legendary,” such as Doctor Octopus and Magneto, may seem powerful and must-have, but they are also hard to get. So perhaps, your line of action could be to unlock such characters later in the game and instead start by unlocking more accessible Heroes – like the Sinister Six team – that can later be used to unlock Legendaries.
#3 Do Your Dailies, Commander
Shards are required to unlock characters, but gold and equipment are also needed to level them up. Completing your daily tasks is the best way to acquire that equipment and gold. Basically, just play the game as you usually would, and you’ll get free goods.
#4 Choose Orbs, not Shards
The game has several stores, including Raid, Arena, and WAR, to name a few. Those shops typically allow you to purchase 5 character shards for a prespecified currency. While purchasing shards with money enables you to obtain a few of the specific characters you are aiming for, buying orbs with the same currency will allow you to acquire many more shards over time.
There is a downside to orbs, naturally. Orbs have random drops. Therefore, targeting is not an option, that is. However, a new player seeks out as many shards as possible to obtain as many unlocks as possible. So you’ll be pleased to get all the characters unlocked as affordably as possible, even though those minion shards don’t feel particularly enjoyable when they fall from an orb.
Marvel Strike Force: FAQs
Getting more in-depth with the game means you will want to or even have to learn more details. So here are some of the ‘how-tos,’ ‘whats,’ and ‘ifs‘ of MSF to set you straight.
What is the maximum level in MSF?
What is the max gear tier?
How do you get Red Stars?
Additional 100000 Red Star Orb fragments are given each Saturday through Login Rewards. Moreover, players can receive up to 2100 Red Star Orb fragments every Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday by completing the Tiers 10, 11, or 12 Orb Fragments Challenge.
In addition, there are numerous Offers where you may purchase Red Star Orb fragments.
How do you get Raid Keys?
To accomplish this, you must purchase additional energy for Power Cores and collect 3 times per day all bonus energy available. The first four energy refills provide 120 energy for 50 Power Cores each. After that, the cost increases, with the subsequent four refills costing the player 100 Power Cores each (price is doubled after every 4 refills).
If you are serious about the game, you should aim to collect the 600 Raid Keys daily.
Do you need to partake in Alliance to succeed in MSF?
In summary, you must be an active Alliance member if you want to use the Marvel Strike Force. Since an alliance is limited to having no more than 24 members, finding a suitable Alliance can be challenging, especially for new players. Also, joining a random Alliance is almost equal to not being in Alliance in the first place. Therefore, popular channels like Facebook, Reddit, or Discord are advisable when scouting for a team.
How do you switch an Alliance?
You should remember that leaving the Alliance without joining another one is not possible, at least not on your own. The only method is to request expulsion from the present Alliance’s leader.
How do you beat an Asgardian Team?
The other strategy involves pairing Kingpin with the Ultimus, non-Minion Kree (like Korath and Minn-Erva), and Kree Cyborg. Thor must be killed quickly enough to avoid his passive and final attacks. You must use Korath’s unique ability to taunt him to accomplish it. If you can achieve that, Ultimus will get Offense Up and be able to use his start-useable ultimate to essentially one-shot Thor. The rest of the mission is simple after you kill Thor. Yet, remember that if Thor resists Taunt or the Asgardians prioritize Minn-Erva, this plan will fail.
